STEEL CITY CLARINET DAY is........
Steel City Clarinet Day is an event designed to bring the Western Pennsylvania clarinet community together to share in a music making and music learning experience. We are back and excited to share more clarinet with you!!! Steel City Clarinet Day 2026 will be held at Shaler Area Middle School (1810 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA 15116). At SCCD 2026, MIDDLE SCHOOL students can now share in the fun too, with our customized day just for them! We have also expanded the day to include a masterclass session on both the District 1 and District 5 PMEA Honors Band audition pieces.
During the event, middle school students, high school students, college students, continuing adult learners, teachers, performers, and faculty are invited to participate in master classes and special topic workshops with featured artists and guests. Participants also have the opportunity to rehearse and perform a variety of repertoire in the Steel City Clarinet Day Community Clarinet Choir. Music businesses from the local area and from around the country will also be on site to share their clarinet supplies and knowledge with you! Steel City Clarinet Day aims to support clarinetists of all levels in growing their clarinet enthusiasm, knowledge, and skills. We look forward to spending this special day with you.
